What does it mean to be part of a truly vibrant community? This Sunday, we looked at Acts 2 and the birth of the early church. This was the moment when the Holy Spirit was poured out, transforming ordinary people into bold witnesses for Jesus. We saw how this new community was marked by devotion, generosity, prayer, worship, and radical love.

As we reflect on our own church, we celebrate the ways we gather, serve, and grow together. From worship to kids’ ministry, from midweek Life Groups to our community outreach, we are part of something bigger. We are a living, breathing community centered on Jesus.

Why we need to meet face to face

In a world where digital connection is easier than ever, do we still need face-to-face relationships? With the rise of AI companions and virtual interactions, it’s tempting to believe that screens can replace human presence. But from the very beginning, God designed us for something deeper.

Why we long to belong

We were made for connection - designed in the image of a God who exists in perfect unity and love as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. SHIFT2025 | From Independence to Dependence on Jesus

Temple 2.0 | The Call to Rebuild

In this message, first preached in C3 Bathurst on 17 November 2024, Col continues our series: Temple 2.0: Return, Rebuild, Renew. Told through the books of Ezra, Nehemiah, Haggai, Zechariah and Malachi, we will follow the people of Israel as they return to Jerusalem and begin to rebuild not only the temple but their identity as God’s people.

This week we compared the message of Haggai and Zechariah to God's people after they stopped rebuilding the temple. We then compared Solomon's temple and Zerubbabel's temple to God's ultimate plan for His temple - to dwell amongst His people.
